Why Chick-Fil-A is not OK

Why Chick-Fil-A Is Not OK.

First off, THIS IS NOT A FIRST AMENDMENT ISSUE!!!!!!!  Chick-Fil-A is being boycotted because CEO Dan Cathy said something asinine.  Chick-Fil-A is being boycotted because CEO Dan Cathy supports HATE.  When the people of this nation get upset because Rush Limbaugh says something asinine and he has to apologize because his sponsors are pulling out. What do people say then?  They say that Rush opened his big mouth again.  That's all.  Oh, and not to mention that it is kind of funny when a person says that somebody can't SAY something because it violates another person's first amendment rights.... just sayin...

What does HATE do to our society?  Hate is learned.  Just like a child has to learn that a stove is hot, so does a person have to learn to hate.  Thus, hate breeds hate.  This hate spreads through the society, until it becomes a social norm.  These values make it OK to hate.  This is where it becomes dangerous.  As society becomes desensitized to hate, higher levels are tolerated.  These levels escalate to eventually causing suicide and homicide.

THIS is why Chick-Fil-A is not OK.  This is why there is a boycott.  Hate is NOT OK.  It doesn't matter if you think it is a choice or not, HATE is not OK.  Passively allowing hate to openly flourish in front of your eyes is NOT OK.  It is sad that people are flocking to this place.  They are not supporting the First Amendment, they are not supporting the Christian Faith, they are supporting HATE and most of them don't even know it!  Why is this?  This is because we have allowed HATE to become a social norm.

What is the solution to this problem?  How can we ever kick forward our social evolution?  BOYCOTT HATE!

You never know who your joy will infect.

You never know who your joy will infect.

Have you ever had one of those times in your life where everything sucks? Of course you have, we all have.... When you were experiencing those moments, have you ever be infected by another person's joy? I can only hope so.

Let's take the case of my friend 'Lina. She has been having a very hard time lately. Things are not working out for her well, and it seems as if she is out of things to go wrong. She told me the other day that something as simple as somebodies facebook updates made her feel better. Why is this?

Happiness is infectious. This facebooker constantly updated his profile with funny, happy, and love filled updates. That was the reason 'Lina has been able to make it during this hard time in her life.

Please, always remember, your negativity can make things seem worse for somebody in a bad situation. On the flip side.... it can help a person stay alive if you push positivity into the universe.

I only ask... thing about who else you are reaching to before you post. Save a life and be happy.

Guerilla Happiness Movement

I want to talk about something called Guerilla Happiness Movement, and why it is important.  In their About section, it says "The Guerilla Happiness Movement~ we experience daily, vicariously and innately, both ridiculously happy and incredibly heavy moments. This is an agreement to connect, a shared opportunity to express our vision of empowered joy in this wildly precious Life by making a conscious effort to utilize our most valuable tool: perspective. Life is what you make of it. Always. Let's teach each other how to build a more pleasurable, harmonious and fun-filled life expression. Choose Happy: Because you get to pick! And it feels good! :) Live it share it spread it! ♥"

I think that this is one of the most vital lessons in life to learn, and sometimes, the hardest.  When I was growing up, I would get soooooooo hurt by things that the other kids would say to/about me.  I remember my mother always said "Don't let them have that power over you, they aren't hurting from this"  Unfortunately,  that never really helped me until I was older.  It's so hard sometime to NOT let the "incredibly heavy moments" bring you down.  It's hard sometimes to take pride in what you do when it seems that nobody else does.

This is why the Guerilla Happiness Movement is important.  If you are having a hard time with this, pop in to the group.  I have had days when everything sucked all around.  They made all the difference.  It is VERY hard to surround yourself with thoughts of happiness and not smile at least once.  Once you have let yourself smile, once you have let go of the negative it becomes easier to just go with the happiness.  Try it, trust me, don't give up on your own happiness, and allow yourself to create happiness for others.

Thank you Guerilla Happiness Movement!!!!

If a person google searches Helicopter footage from the 1960s, they will get page after page of military footage.  There is even an entry for helicopters spraying protesters. There is nothing talking about the helicopters at Woodstock.

The juxtaposition of the helicopters at Woodstock is an interesting phenomenon. One should stop and think about how people in this time period were used to seeing helicopters. They were used to seeing them in Vietnam. Seeing them bring in the dead. Seeing them dropping all their young men to their death. Seeing them bringing in the national guard to “control” a protest.

This was not the case. These helicopters were bringing in the revolution. They were transporting Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, Arlo Guthrie, Crosby Stills and Nash, Joan Biaz. They were flying overhead and not dropping pesticides or bombs. They were dropping dry clothes and flowers.

Was this the universe trying to right its wrongs. Trying to make up for the atrocities committed? Or did these people actually make it happen....

When the counter-culture stops being the counter-culture and becomes the culture, the MSM continues to call them the counter-culture.  I hope that the people of OWS remember this.  I hope that they remember how long this went on.  Remember that the helicopters at Woodstock didn’t happen until 1969.  We have a long way to go, but we will get there.
Life is a room, redecorate as needed....

Just because you don’t like something, doesn’t mean that it is not good.

The first step in become a HAVE from a HAVE NOT is by acknowledging what you do have.

If your face is going to stick that way, might as well smile.

If you think it won’t matter, you are probably wrong.

You can’t ignore the cons, just don’t forget about the pros while you are at it.

Matter can neither be created or destroyed, so make your energy matter. =)
